Terms of Service

The rules of a booking with us: what we owe you, what you owe us, and exactly what happens when a plan changes.

Last updated 5 August 2026 · Seattle Van and Limo Services LLC, doing business as JD Shuttle · 4836 S 177th Ct, SeaTac, WA 98188

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are between you and Seattle Van and Limo Services LLC, a Washington limited liability company trading as JD Shuttle, at 4836 S 177th Ct, SeaTac, WA 98188. "We", "us" and "our" mean that company. "You" means the person who books a ride, whether or not you are the passenger.

We provide pre-arranged private ground transportation. We do not operate a scheduled public route and we do not sell individual seats on a shared vehicle. Every booking reserves an entire vehicle for your party.

2. Booking and confirmation

A booking exists only once we confirm it. Submitting the quote form is a request, not a contract. We confirm by text, email or phone using the details you gave us, normally within one hour.

Bookings must be made at least 3 hours before pickup. Inside 3 hours, call (206) 353-3731 so dispatch can confirm a vehicle is actually available.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the pickup address, the date, the time and the passenger count. A driver sent to the wrong address is treated as a no-show.

3. Price

Prices are per vehicle, not per passenger, and are published in full on our rate card. The price quoted at the time you book is the price you pay, provided the trip you take is the trip you booked.

The quote includes tolls, applicable taxes and airport access fees. It does not include gratuity, which is always your choice.

The price changes only if the trip changes: added stops, a longer wait than the free allowance, a different destination, more passengers than the vehicle you booked, or a return leg added on the day. Any such change is priced from the same published rate card.

Some trips cannot be priced automatically — addresses outside our published zones, and one-way trips over 150 miles. Those are quoted by hand and confirmed with you before anything is charged.

4. Waiting time

Every pickup includes 15 minutes of free waiting. For airport pickups the clock starts when the aircraft is at the gate, not at the scheduled arrival time, and only if you gave us the flight number. For cruise pier pickups it starts at the time you specified. After the free allowance, waiting is charged in 15-minute increments at the rate published on the rate card.

5. Cancellation, changes and no-shows

  • More than 3 hours before pickup — cancel or change free of charge.
  • Inside 3 hours — 50% of the fare.
  • No-show — the full fare. You are a no-show if the vehicle arrives at the address you gave, waits the free allowance plus a reasonable attempt to reach you by phone, and cannot find you.
  • Your flight is cancelled or diverted — the fee is waived. Tell us as soon as you know. This applies whether or not you gave us the flight number, but we can only apply it automatically if you did.
  • We cancel — you pay nothing, and if we cancelled for a reason within our control we will pay the difference for a comparable ride you arrange yourself.

6. Payment

Card payment at booking is not yet enabled; today no card is taken on the site and dispatch arranges payment directly. When online card payment launches, we will authorize your card at booking and charge it after the ride. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If a charge fails, the fare remains due.

7. Passengers, luggage and child seats

Seat and luggage counts on each vehicle are the maximum, not a target — a vehicle rated for 12 passengers does not also carry 12 large cases. If your party or luggage exceeds what you booked, the driver may refuse to load, and the fare is not refunded. When in doubt, call us before you book.

Child seats — infant, convertible and booster — are provided as a paid per-seat add-on, priced on the published rate card, and must be requested at booking. Washington law requires them; a driver may refuse to carry a child without an appropriate restraint, and that refusal is treated as a no-show.

8. Conduct

Drivers may refuse or end a trip where a passenger is abusive, threatening, or unable to travel safely. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. You are responsible for damage or soiling caused by your party, charged at documented cost.

9. Delays and things outside anyone's control

We plan around traffic, weather and ferry queues, and we track flights where you give us the number. We are not liable for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control — road closures, severe weather, accidents, mechanical failure, or acts of a public authority. Where a delay is our fault, our liability is limited to the fare paid for the affected trip.

If you are travelling to catch a flight or a sailing, choose a pickup time with a real margin. We will tell you if a pickup time looks too tight, but the choice is yours and missing a departure is not a refundable event.

10. Lost property

Tell us as soon as you notice. We search the vehicle and hold found items for 30 days. We are not responsible for items left in a vehicle, and we cannot guarantee recovery.

11. Licensing and insurance

Seattle Van and Limo Services LLC is registered in Washington State (UBI 605 582 125) and carries commercial insurance.

12. Communications

By booking, you agree that we may contact you about that booking by phone, text or email using the details you provided. Text messaging is optional and separate — see our SMS terms. Marketing messages require a separate opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time.

13. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Washington. Before any formal action, contact us at info@shuttleseattle.com — nearly everything is resolved by a phone call. Any claim that cannot be resolved is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your ride is the version published on the day you booked it. Material changes are noted by the date at the top of this page.
