What we collect, why each field exists, and who else ever sees it. It is a short list on purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to be texted with anyone for their own marketing, ever, under any circumstance.
1. What we collect, and why
| What | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Name | So the driver knows who they are meeting. |
| Mobile number | The driver calls or texts you on the day. This is the only field we genuinely cannot do the job without. |
| Email address (optional) | A written confirmation and receipt, if you want one. Leave it blank and everything still works. |
| Pickup and drop-off addresses, date, time, passenger and luggage counts | To dispatch the right vehicle to the right place, and to price the trip. |
| Flight number (when your trip starts or ends at an airport) | To track the aircraft and move your pickup with it. We look up public flight status only — we have no access to your reservation, your ticket or your airline account. |
| Cruise line and ship (when your trip starts or ends at a pier) | Debarkation is released deck by deck and berths differ; the ship name tells the driver when and where to be. |
| Notes you type for dispatch | Accessibility needs, ski bags, early check-in. Only shared with the driver on your trip. |
| Payment card (only when online card payment is enabled — not active today) | When enabled, collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. We receive a token, the last four digits and the card brand. We never see or hold the full number. |
2. What we do not collect
We do not ask for a date of birth, a government ID, a social security number or any financial account detail. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not build profiles across other websites, and we do not use your data to train anything.
3. Text messages
Text messaging is optional. The consent box on our booking form is not pre-ticked and your booking completes whether or not you tick it. If you leave it untouched, we phone you instead.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging carrier that delivers the message to your handset, which is a delivery mechanism, not a recipient. Full details on the SMS terms page.
4. Who else sees your information
- Your driver — name, phone, addresses, time, and any note you left. Nothing else.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's own privacy policy governs card data.
- Lead Friendly — the booking and dispatch platform we run the business on. It receives and stores your booking (name, contact and trip details) so we can dispatch the ride and keep the records the law requires. It is our processor and does not sell your data.
- Our messaging and email providers — solely to deliver the message you asked for.
- A hotel or company that booked on your behalf — if a partner property arranged your ride, that property sees the trip they arranged and what it cost them.
- Law enforcement — only where we are legally compelled, and only what is compelled.
That is the complete list. There are no data brokers, no advertising networks and no affiliate arrangements.
5. How long we keep it
Trip records are kept for 7 years because Washington business and tax rules require it. Payment tokens, once online card payment is enabled, are held while a card is on file for a future booking and deleted on request. Message and call logs are kept for 24 months. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete everything not required by the retention rules above, and we tell you what remains and why.
6. Your choices
- Stop texts — reply STOP to any message, or call us.
- Stop email — unsubscribe link on any email, or call us.
- See what we hold — email info@shuttleseattle.com and we will send it.
- Correct or delete it — same address. We act within 30 days.
You do not have to be a resident of any particular state to use these. We apply them to everyone.
7. Cookies & analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no cross-site or third-party ad trackers. We do keep a simple first-party analytics count — page views, the page path and referrer, and a random per-visit id stored in your browser's session storage — sent to our own platform (Lead Friendly) so we can see how many people use the site. It is never sold and is not used to profile you across other websites. Anything else kept in your browser is functional, such as remembering a quote you started so a refresh does not lose it. There are no cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner.
8. Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to trip records is limited to dispatch staff and the driver assigned to your trip. Card data never touches our systems. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will tell you directly and promptly rather than by posting a notice.
9. Children
This service is booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Children travel with us constantly — we simply do not collect data about them beyond the seat type needed to carry them safely and legally.
10. Changes
Material changes are announced by the date at the top of this page. We do not retroactively widen how we use data already collected.
